Our chicken feeders are designed and manufactured in Australia using the most robust commercially available materials. We build our feeders tough with high quality U.V. rated plastics. This is to ensure that our products handle the harshest of Australian conditions.
In short, the lack of moving parts in our chicken feeders offers solutions to the environmentally-conscious farmer who wants to reduce waste, do the right thing for the planet, and save a stack of money simultaneously. It’s a win-win-win!
The Motherflocker is the only true ‘set-and-forget’ device on the market, and a truly waste-free product. It’s the only automated chicken feeder in the world with no mechanical parts whatsoever!
A single 20L chicken feeder is capable of serving around 8 chickens. If it’s kept out of heavy rain, your feeder shouldn’t need any attention or topping up for about a week.
As the feed level drops, we advise to give the feeder a shake to ensure all the feed in the container is accessible to the chickens.
There are plans in the pipeline for much larger versions, including an adaptation for large scale commercial operations that are keen to save a fortune on wasted feed.
These operators will one day be able to use commercial-sized Motherflockers to reduce their carbon footprint by eliminating machinery used to drive augers and other complicated means employed to get feed into the pans.
